ICV Promotes Two Senior Associates to Vice President
NEW YORK, January 3, 2011 – ICV Partners (ICV), a private investment firm focused on
investments in smaller middle market companies, announced today the promotion of
Sheldon Howell and Jermaine Warren from Senior Associate to Vice President.
Willie E. Woods, President of ICV, said "the promotions are reflective of their hard work
and dedication and their strong contributions to our team."
Mr. Howell joined ICV after working for Churchill Financial, a provider of senior and
mezzanine debt financing to middle-market financial sponsors. He also worked in
investment banking at Merrill Lynch, as well as Ladenburg Thalmann and American
International Group. He received his BA in Economics and Political Science from
Rutgers University, and his MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of
Michigan, where he was a Merrill Lynch MBA Fellow and a Consortium for Graduate
Study in Management Fellow.
Mr. Warren re-joined ICV in 2010 after working as an investment professional with
Starwood Capital Group Global LLC, a Greenwich, CT based real estate private equity
firm. Mr. Warren worked at ICV from 2003 to 2005 where he was a member of the
teams that executed the investment in Innovative Creative Packing Solutions, Inc. and
the divesture of Marshall Retail Group, LLC from Fund I. He also spent time at Goldman
Sachs in New York where he was involved in various merger and acquisition
assignments and equity and debt financings. He holds a BS in Business from Hofstra
University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
