ICV Partners Completes Sale of Beacon Global Strategies

Transaction positions Beacon for continued growth as a leading national security advisory firm

ICV Partners, LLC (“ICV”), a leading lower middle market private equity firm focused on investments in founder and family owned companies in the business services, non-discretionary consumer, and food & beverage sectors, today announced the sale of Beacon Global Strategies (“Beacon” or “BGS”), a leading national security and geopolitical advisory firm, to Lovell Minnick Partners (“Lovell Minnick”), a private equity firm focused on investments in financial services, business services, and financial technology companies.

Since partnering with ICV in 2022, Beacon significantly increased key aspects of its business organically, including revenue, EBITDA, client count and number of employees, all while expanding its operating margins and profitability.

ICV and Beacon’s relationship led to operational enhancements including the expansion of its leadership team, the execution of senior-level lateral hires that have joined Beacon to lead key practice areas, as well as the hiring of the company’s first Chief Financial Officer, Head of Human Resources, and Contracts Manager. Beacon also significantly increased its employee count and implemented a variety of incentive programs to align management and employees with strategic growth, value creation, employee and client retention, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
